Pay it Forward

How can we access each other as learning supports?

We become ourselves through others.” Lev Semyonovich Vygotsky, 1966

In a time where new technology is continuously emerging, it is impossible to be a master of all. Just as in our classrooms we honour the knowledge students bring with them, so too should we honor and utilize the wealth of knowledge available among our districts’ teachers. If you would like to learn more about an integrating a specific technology into your pedagogy, let us know and we will do our best to connect you with mentor teachers in our district or facilitate collaborative time with the colleague(s) of your choosing.

An afternoon of release time will be provided (release time will be dependent on available funding and the number of requests).

What we request in return is a willingness to ‘pay it forward’ through potential mentoring and by sharing any support materials you might develop with other teachers through our Resource Wiki on our website.
